This is not an official warning service.
MSRX WeatherWatch is an independent tool built on public data. In an emergency, act on your national and local authorities — not on this site.
Who runs this
MSRX WeatherWatch is operated by Mrinal Singh Raja, an individual, publishing under the name “MSRX”. MSRX is a brand name, not a registered company, and it is not a government body, a meteorological agency or a disaster-management authority.
Not affiliated with any official agency
This platform is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), the Central Water Commission, NOAA, the WMO, or any other official body. Where their names appear, it is to point you to them as the authoritative source — not to claim any association with them.
The authoritative source is always the official one
Warnings, watches, alerts and evacuation instructions come from your national meteorological and disaster-management agencies. In India that is IMD (mausam.imd.gov.in) and NDMA (ndma.gov.in), together with your state and district administration. If anything on this site disagrees with them, they are right and this site is wrong.
What the readings actually are
The figures here are derived from public feeds — Open-Meteo, USGS, GDACS, NASA FIRMS and similar — processed by our own hazard engines. Those feeds can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. A model run is a forecast, not an observation. Coverage and accuracy vary enormously by region, and are usually worst exactly where infrastructure is thinnest.
Nothing here is monitored by a person. There is no meteorologist on duty, no verification step, and no guarantee that the site is reachable when you most need it.
The AI is a summary, not an advisor
The AI features, including the Emergency Advisor persona, are a large language model summarising the data already on the page. The persona names are a framing for the kind of summary you get — they are not a qualified adviser, and no emergency professional has reviewed anything it says.
A model states an inference with the same confidence as a fact. Never let it be the reason you stay, leave, travel or shelter.
No warranty, and the limit of what we owe
This service is free and provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for any loss arising from a decision taken on the basis of a reading, a forecast or an AI summary shown here. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability for all claims is limited to one thousand Indian rupees (₹1,000). Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indian law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them. If you use the service as a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove rights your local law gives you that cannot be removed by agreement.
