Terms of use
What MSRX WeatherWatch is, what it does not promise, and the law that applies.
Last updated: 10 September 2026
What this is
MSRX WeatherWatch is a free weather and multi-hazard dashboard built on public data. There is no account, no fee and no subscription. Using it means accepting these terms; if you do not accept them, do not use it.
Who you are agreeing with
The service is operated by Mrinal Singh Raja, an individual, publishing under the name “MSRX”. MSRX is a brand name, not a registered company, and nothing here should be read as implying a company behind it. In these terms “we”, “us” and “MSRX” mean Mrinal Singh Raja. Written notice reaches us at mrinalsinghraja@gmail.com.
It is not an official warning service
This is the most important clause here, so it is not buried. WeatherWatch is independent and is not affiliated with IMD, NDMA, NOAA, the WMO or any other official body. It does not issue warnings. In an emergency, act on your national and local authorities.
The safety disclaimer sets this out in full and forms part of these terms.
Do not rely on it for a safety decision
Readings can be delayed, incomplete or wrong; a forecast is a model run, not an observation; and the service may be unavailable exactly when severe weather makes it interesting. No part of it is monitored by a person.
Do not use it as the basis for deciding whether to evacuate, travel, shelter, fly, sail, work outdoors, or protect property or livestock. Those decisions belong with official advisories and people qualified to give them.
The AI features
AI summaries, including the Emergency Advisor persona, are produced by a large language model reading the data on the page. It can misread a figure or assert a cause the data does not support, and no emergency professional has reviewed its output. Treat it as a summary to check, never as advice to act on.
Data sources and their terms
Weather and hazard data come from public providers including Open-Meteo, USGS, GDACS and NASA FIRMS, and map tiles from OpenStreetMap and Esri. Those providers have their own licences and terms, which govern the underlying data. We present it; we do not own it.
What you may not do
Use the service for anything unlawful, or to infringe somebody else’s rights. Attempt to break, overload, probe or circumvent any limit, security control or rate limit. Use automated means to scrape the service at scale, or resell access to it. Present its output as an official warning, or as reviewed or endorsed by us or by any agency.
Availability
The service is free and provided with no guarantee that it will be available or uninterrupted, and it may change or stop at any time. The AI features run on a free upstream quota shared by everyone using the site, so they rate-limit and sometimes fail.
No warranty, and the limit of what we owe
To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for any loss arising from a decision taken on the basis of anything shown here. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability for all claims is limited to one thousand Indian rupees (₹1,000). Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indian law.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them. If you use the service as a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove rights your local law gives you that cannot be removed by agreement. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
Changes
Material changes move the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the revised terms.
This page describes how the platform actually works, in plain language. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
