Beyond the range
Nearby fire brings ember showers that ignite buildings ahead of the fire front, and smoke that drops air quality to hazardous within hours. Late evacuation is the leading cause of wildfire fatalities — roads clog and visibility collapses.

- Prepare a go-bag and keep vehicles fuelled during fire weather.
